I started training in MMA in 2007 with Danny Batten. After a few months I had my first semi pro bout after winning that bout. My following bout lead me to my first UK title fight, however it was not long before I found my self without an opponent, so  my team and I choose to step up to pro and in weight class. After having a good run of wins I went on to fight for the OMMAC light heavyweight title, winning that title was the first big step for me, I soon found myself on one of the biggest stages in UK UCMMA. I went onto win two fights before they set me up to fight for the UCMMA light heavyweight title, which was something I had been waiting to get my hands on for a very long time, after defending the title twice the next stage in my career was to go to one of the biggest stages in the world BELLATOR.
